Uptight Club
We launch at Barfly, Glasgow, on Friday 14th March 2008 and return on the second Friday of every month. We play a mixture of retro sounds from the 1960s to the 1990s, including funk, soul, psyche, garage, freakbeat and

Entry is £6 / £5 (NUS) and doors are 11pm – 3am.

HI Paul,Charlie,here fantastic set of tunes at Uptight Club on Friday night,
as you can tell from my dancing and heel spins,I enjoyed the night! This Club
has so much potential,for the future,like a certain reminscent songs from the 80’s”FUTURE’S SO BRIGHT,I GOTTA WEAR SHADES!” come on Pop Pickers,name the band? Been a long time since I have been to a dance that I have heard The Doors,The Yardbirds,The Small Faces, side by side, is EXCELLENT,WE’RE NOT WORTHY! so come on folks,check it out,The Uptight Club,its here to stay! Its not often, you see me dancing to The Smiths ,thought I was pure dead giving it laldy! Till some pure drap deid gorgeous,burd fae Royston!Said I danced like Tom JonesAhm still cringing,but I taken it well on my chin,both of them! In a classic one liner I read today from Elaine C.
