Got to agree with the NG Mods - Curtis Mayfield is the man and doesn’t get the credit he deserves! ‘Back to the world’ is one of my at time favourite LP’s and as for influences - The Wailers started off doing Impressions covers and ‘One Love’ is almost a carbon copy of ‘People Get Ready’ - No Curtis = no Bob Marley!
